Curtis Cardoza, Pinnacle’s Southeast Regional Marketing Director, was a presenter at the recent Florida Apartment Association Annual Conference and Trade Show in Orlando where he spoke alongside Yelp specialist Genna Gold in a session titled “Yelp can help! So much information, so little time.”
Curtis opened the session by speaking about the current state of “reviews” and explaining how he believes that online reputation can set properties apart from their competition, especially in extremely competitive markets. He went on to share Pinnacle’s philosophy on reputation management and provided details about how he leverages Yelp’s brand to drive reviews and targeted traffic to his properties. Curtis then provided his audience with statistics from a recent case study that showed how a fully optimized reputation management strategy can result in traffic back your property.
Curtis emphasized that we must tackle reviews head on and use these platforms to our competitive advantage. Online ratings and reviews are not going away and those who embrace these channels early will be come out ahead.
