Growing Your Own: Lessons in Organic Talent Development
The session focused on sourcing high potential talent, identifying “future role” profiles, examining insights into performance metrics and highlighting the top ten talent tactics. Jennifer shared her thoughts on creating a diverse team, the importance of training in the moment, being proactive in your approach to hiring and retaining talent, remembering to always walk the talk and underlining the importance of continuous learning personally and within your team.

Topics ranging from revenue management, package management, reputation management and marketing spend were covered in this diverse session presented by executives in operations, IT, business development and marketing & training. Jennifer was able to share her insight into Pinnacle’s philosophy on each of these topics at the Executive Forum and give her unique perspective from the lens of marketing and training.
Total Disruption: Meet the Companies Affecting the Industry
Jennifer provided the introduction to this fast paced session which introduced five new companies to the multifamily industry. Representatives from Baroo, Hello Alfred, Abode, Cubicasa and Hello Tech had five minutes to give their elevator pitch followed by three minutes of audience questions. All five of these companies created a product or service to “fix” a problem that our industry currently faces by leveraging technology as the solution.
